Closed in 2013 by the city’s School Reform Commission, the building has since undergone a remarkable transformation. It is on these storied steps that we meet Steve Whisler, one of many artisans and entrepreneurs who not only set up shop at Bok, but have become intimately engaged with the community surrounding it.
